Gabriel Sullivan

He directs, shoots, writes, and sometimes even jumps in front of the camera. It all began in 1993 when Gabe packed his camera and surfboards into his rust bucket VW bus, headed to Orange County, California, and began an internship at Surfer Magazine. This led to Curious Gabe, his man-on-the-street format column in which he interviewed and photographed thousands of surfers from all walks of life for the fabled publication. Since then, he has received commissions from a host of international magazines, shot advertising campaigns, engaged in brand partnerships, and directed photojournalism projects across the globe with one simple goal: to inspire positive change through creativity.
